Jackpot is a comedy by Jean-Pierre Martinez, one of the contemporary authors most represented in France and other French-speaking countries. It tells the story of Pedro and Cristina, a middle-class couple going through a small financial crisis.
Against Pedro’s will, Cristina decides to invite Jorge and Alice, a friendly couple, to dinner to try to recover the money they had lent them. To their surprise, Alice appears alone and in great distress; she has just learned that the plane her husband was traveling on crashed into the sea.
Throughout the night, as they follow the news about the accident, Pedro discovers that he is the sole winner of the EuroMillions Jackpot on that Friday the 13th. Pedro and Cristina try to conceal their excitement, contrasting with Alice’s sorrow.
A myriad of twists and turns will make these three friends experience the most eventful night of their lives. In the end, who will truly win this Jackpot!
Presented in various cities worldwide, such as Paris, New York, Madrid, among others, Jackpot is a show of pure entertainment and fun.
